My Platform
We need to get back to common sense issues in our communities. Not the none sense that is being pushed on us by the media and our government that has failed us. For too long Joe the plumber, JC the electrician, Xavier the college graduate and so many more have been given false promises and have been miss guided. It's time we actually put the focus on these individuals and get government back to working for them.

We are the richest and most powerful country on this earth. We have the ability to make the changes needed for the people of PA district 5 and the country. The wealthy can do more, and corporations can a well.

-
Accountability:
-
Our government officials, Corporate CEO's, School District Superintendents, SEPTA, Prospect Medical (Crozer Healthcare System), Presidents and Board members of Higher Education Institutions all need to be held accountable.
-
-
Education:
-
PA District 5, as the best schools in the state and country. The district also has some of the worst (Chester Upland School District). Its school districts such as CUSD that I for school choice vouchers.
-
In order to start the process of answering the failing school system problems we need to talk about tough issues. I will work with the Superintendents of the successful and failing school districts, state and community leaders in order to start addressing the problems facing these districts.
-
The cost of higher education has ballooned. We have students going to college that can't find jobs, or jobs that pay enough to live. I will work with the Presidents of these institutions to find out why the cost are so high and what are they doing to lower cost. Since the presidents and the boards make millions in salaries and the institutions have hundreds of millions to billions in their endowments. I think we can all come together and make Higher Educations affordable for all.
-
I would also like to push for legislation on Student Loan Rate Limits. The interest rates on student loans are too high and when most students require loans they're being taken advantage.
-
We should also start increasing funds to programs that promote and educate people of all ages on skilled trades and professional jobs. We need plumbers, carpenters, mechanics, welders, electricians, doctors, nurses, pharmacist, engineers.
-
Continue to look into and fund "After School Programs". These programs play a key role in training the minds of students for academic and personal life success.
-
We also need to start looking at providing free Community College. There are already States with types of free Community College and its something that should be focused on at all levels of government.
-
-
Lowering the cost of living:
-
The Federal Reserve needs to lower interest rates. Inflation is hovering around 2.9% to 3%. Unemployment rates are 4.5% and the cost of everyday goods are still high. Lowering interest rate will help will lower our daily cost.
-
I would strongly consider cutting any federal regulation that would add increase cost to the people and to build affordable housing.
-
We also need to invest in energy, build more nuclear power plants. Diversify our energy sources clean coal, natural gas, window, electric, solar etc. This would lower the cost of our water, electric, food, automotives.
-
I will also meet with corporate CEOs such as the insurance sector to find out why cost is so high and why they think it's ok to charge an arm and a leg on their rates. When they and their boards bring home millions in salaries and bonuses. Pay millions for commercials and advertainment and continue to go more automated with jobs.
-
We need more housing and at the same time we need to make sure that people not corporations are able to buy houses. I will work with the state and local leaders are finding funds to build or renovate abandoned land. We need to start using the abandon land rather than building on green land.
-
-
Mental health and addiction:
-
We need to continue to increase funding on programs and clinics that address the ever-growing mental health and addiction issues in our district and America today.
-
We need to continue to openly talk and feel safe in talking about our health and addictions and programs that help with that should be funded.
-
I will also help communities fund events and programs to build up the members of the community of all ages. Mental health and addiction aren't just affecting young adults but our children and senior citizens.
-
-
Jobs:
-
I believe in worker representation/ collective bargaining and unionization of workers. Even in a time that arguments can be made that unions aren't needed anymore. We are still in a time that workers are still mistreated and taken advantage. We are also in need of rebuilding the middle class and unions created the middle class.
-
We need to continue to increase funding for promotion and education on skill training programs.
-
I will meet with corporations, business owners and entrepreneurs to promote the district and help states and local governments on making environments that will lead to economic success.
-
-
First responders:
-
Funding and modernizing the heroes who protect our communities.
-
I will work with the state, local governments, emergency departments and community leaders to find out funding needs. To understand the real needs of these services you have to consult the local community and the department themselves. There they end users and those in need.
-
I also want to work with the states and other agencies to increase funding on technology. Innovations in these fields save lives and protect lives.
-
Volunteerism in District 5 is harder to find every day. Especially when it comes to out Volunteer Firefighters. We need to start and implement tax vouchers (Income tax, Property or sales tax). So that there is additional incentives to volunteer.
-
-
Balancing the national budget:
-
Restoring fiscal responsibility to secure our future.
-
I believe that we should have a detailed audit of government expensive and cuts in areas that are considered waste. A limited government is the best government.
-
We need to also start enforcing and increase the federal luxury tax on items that are imported, high prices items and the domestic sale of high-priced items.
-
I am a big believer that the wealthy can do more and would vote for a wealth tax on the millionaires and billionaires. If your net worth is over 5 million dollars you can give more.
